Several years ago, my husband and I got a BBQ. And now we have an indoor grill, too.

We love grilling up healthy summer eats—such as grilled tofu for an entrée, grilled asparagus with garlic for a side dish, and grilled pineapple for dessert.

We also often whip up some veggie-based sides to eat outside with our barbecued dishes.

I’m going to share with you how to make one of my favorite summer side dishes, grilled asparagus with garlic.

The beauty of grilling this easy and delicious side dish is that it doesn’t take too long and one portion of grilled asparagus with garlic is just 100 calories!

You only need a few ingredients to make grilled asparagus with garlic:

Asparagus: This is the main star. It’s one of my favorite vegetables, and it’s filled with satiating fiber!

Olive oil: I love cooking with olive oil because you get heart-healthy mono- and polyunsaturated fats!

Spices: You’ll use a blend of lemongrass, garlic powder, dried rosemary, onion powder, aalt and black pepper to flavor this asparagus side dish.
