Not too long ago, a Trader Joe’s opened in my neighborhood. This was a life-changing event! Before then, the closest grocery store was a drive away.
I love that I can stop by TJ’s on my way home from a workout or seeing the chiropractor. (Well, in normal life, that is!) Plus, I have my pick of the healthiest items at Trader Joe’s. And of course, the prices at TJ’s can be much lower than at a traditional grocery store.
Think TV dinners can’t be healthy? Store-bought meals definitely have a bad rap. But these days, it’s actually pretty easy to find nutritious options in the frozen aisle. You can find many healthy Trader Joe’s picks, including convenient, pre-made dishes.
And I know I’ll also find lots of affordable fruits and veggies to pair with them! Want to know which products I recommend trying first?

Here are some of my favorite TJ’s healthy items, including Trader Joe’s healthy snacks.
Trader Joe’s Coffee Concentrate
TJ’s has a lot of great coffee items. This coffee concentrate contains just two ingredients, coffee and water.
Trader Joe’s Kale & Edamame Salad
Yup, you can get Trader Joe’s healthy meals. I love the grab-and-go salads at TJ’s. This pick combines protein-rich edamame with kale, dried cranberries, grape tomatoes, almonds, and green onions. You get 14 grams of protein and 10 grams of fiber to help keep you fuller for longer.
Trader Joe’s Vegan Chicken-Less Seasoning
This chicken-less seasoning is a fun way to get the flavors we associate with chicken, even in plant-based recipes! I’ve never been disappointed with a Trader Joe’s spice blend. It includes turmeric, which has inflammation-fighting benefits.
Trader Joe’s Yellow Jackfruit Curry with Jasmine Rice
Want a vegan meal from Trader Joe’s? Here you go! This pick uses jackfruit as a meat substitute and also contains eggplant, bell peppers, and a nice spicy curry flavor! It’s a good source of satiating protein and fiber.
Trader Joe’s Channa Masala
Here’s another vegetarian-friendly pick! It has chickpeas as the base and provides protein and fiber. I typically serve it with quick-cook brown rice.
Trader Joe’s Tofu Spring Rolls
These make such an easy, quick dinner, especially if you’re looking for a vegetarian meal. You get filling protein from the tofu and peanut sauce, as well as a lot of flavor for only about 400 calories.
Trader Joe’s Vanilla Meringue Cookies
These are my go-to when I want something sweet. I like that I can have four cookies for just 90 calories!
