How to Make Pistachio Milk in Minutes
Wondering how to make pistachio milk? Blending up a homemade version takes just minutes with this quick how-to guide.
This how-to-make-nut milk guide makes whipping up a homemade pistachio milk recipe super easy.
The pistachio drink is delicious but almost impossible to find in the supermarket. Enter the homemade version, ready in minutes! I don’t know about you, but I’d prefer a cup of pistachio dairy-free milk to hot chocolate any day.

Why Make Pistachio Milk
While researching nut milks for a magazine article I was writing awhile back, I realized that milked pistachios would likely be so delicious. But it’s nearly impossible to find an unsweetened version in the store.
I literally couldn’t find any to buy.
So I figured out how to make the pistachio drink on my own. This recipe uses a blender, but you can easily use a food processor instead. And it’s much quicker to make than almond milk.
Once I mastered making this milk, I kicked myself for not doing it sooner, because it’s just so easy. It took just a few minutes to whip up a delicious batch. You don’t need a nut milk bar or anything, not even any hot water. You only need one or two layers of cheesecloth or fine mesh.
Once I finished blending up a batch, I put it in the fridge to cool for a refreshing drink and a base for a smoothie the next morning. You can refrigerate the dairy-free milk for a few hours or overnight.

Pistachio Milk Benefits
The best part about drinking the nut milk? It’s made from pistachios, one of my favorite nuts.
As for pistachio milk nutrition, you get healthy fats, fiber, and protein—all of which help to keep you satiated. And they’re delicious. Because the milk is so fresh, it picks up a lot of that nutty flavor.
Read on for instructions on how to make the nut milk. Go ahead and pour yourself a glass and pair it with a tasty baked good. Drink a whole cup or a 1/2 cup portion, it’s up to you!
